Gyms in Hua Hin
For full reviews of the gyms in Hua Hin which I used, please click on individual gyms or see brief descriptions here:
1. Body Fit 88
This medium-large gym is a definite contender as my favourite gym in Hua Hin. Unfortunately it’s everyone else’s too, judging by how busy it was on a Monday morning so choose your time wisely if you don’t want to wait for equipment. Body Fit 88 has it all from aircon to classes and a great central location. At 190 baht for a day pass it was one of the priciest I found though.
2. Endorphin Fitness Club
One of the best value day passes I found at 95 baht in an air-conditioned gym. Yes, it’s small, but not an issue if you have the flexibility to avoid peak times. Endorphin Fitness Club has a good range of equipment and is fairly central – just 15 mins walk north of the night market. Bonus points for having clean toilets!
3. Metamorph Hua Hin
Metamorph is the most centrally located of the gyms, which is ideal if you’re based centrally. The gym is pretty small, but staff were super-friendly and it caters very well for weight-trainers and functional training fans. There was no aircon though and it was one of the priciest of the gyms I visited (150 baht), although cheaper than Atletic Fitness.
4. Hua Hin Sport Villa
My all-round favourite, this place has it all – aircon, a swimming pool and a good variety of gym equipment. It’s 3km out of town, but suss out the songthaews and you can get there cheaply and easily. It’s also the cheapest at only 80 baht.
5. Hua Hin Fitness and Spa / Hua Hin Fitness Sauna & Spa Center
This place is a good compromise between the above two. It’s 2km south-west of town and comes in at 100 baht. It’s a little bigger than Hua Hin Sport Villa, but without aircon. It has a good range of equipment.
Other Gyms in Hua Hin
6. The Tank Gym Hua Hin
Facebook
15/11 Hua Hin 51 Alley
Opening Times: Mon-Fri 7:00 – 23:00, Sat and Sun: 8:00 – 21:00
The gym is located just a few metres away from Endorphin Fitness Club above.
The price was similar for one day and The Tank Gym is considerably bigger. However the trade off is it has no aircon, so I opted to use Endorphin.
7. Atletic Fitness / @Letic Fitness
Soi 88, (226/6 Hua Hin 88 Road), 77110, Hua Hin
Opening Times: Mon-Fri: 700-2200, Sat: 800-1800, Sun 700-2000
Cost:
300 baht per day
2500 for 10 days (can be used over 6 months),
4000 baht for 20 days (can be used over 1 year)
The most notable other gym I found was Atletic Fitness, which this is a top end club in a great location. It is the second most central after Metamorph Gym, but the downside is the related price tag.
The gym is located just south of the Grand Night Market. From there, walk briefly south (away from town) and turn down Soi 88 and it’s a couple of hundred metres down there on the right.
I did not use this gym, but during my brief visit, I found the club fully air-conditioned with modern equipment and on par with any typical good Western club chain. At a glance, I thought it seemed larger and better equipped than either of the other two gyms.
There is also a studio and classes include Yoga, Spinning, Abs, and weights.

Summary
My personal favourite is Hua Hin Sport Villa because it’s a perfect balance of cost and quality. 80 baht is unbeatable and you’ll get aircon and a fair range of equipment. There’s a beautiful pool outside to cool off in too.
If budget is no issue, then Atletic Fitness certainly the most attractive club I found in Hua Hin. It has far more equipment than Hua Hin Sport Villa, and is more appealing than (the better equipped) Hua Hin Fitness and Spa as it’s air-conditioned and equipment is much more modern. To be fair, 300 baht is not a ridiculous price, although it’s expensive by Thai standards. Personally, for me it wasn’t worth paying 3-4 times the price of the other gyms though.
If you want somewhere right in the centre to train, Metamorph Hua Hin is your place! However note there is no cardio equipment apart from one Schwinn bike.
