Location and Entry
The gym seems to have two different names, depending on whether you look at the sign outside it, or its Facebook page! This medium-sized gym is located around 2km southwest of town.
Whilst the equipment is a little old and dated, it is all in good working order and there is an excellent range of it for its size.
The gym is totally open for fresh air and also has fans. I was pleasantly surprised by the toilets which were clean and I found a similarly nice-looking shower (although I didn’t use it).
When I attended, only a few others were using the gym, all of whom were tourists. That said, it was New Year’s Eve, therefore prime tourist time!

Weights and Functional Equipment
There are two racks of dumbbells which go up to 50lbs, including some duplicates. The only barbells are the ones belonging to the Smith machine and the benchpress rack. There is no squat rack either, meaning you’d need to use the bar on the benchpress rack if you wanted to do free standing squats without the restriction of being attached to the Smith machine.
For floor work, there are a few yoga mats by reception and a studio (which two people were using when I attended) where you could do floor exercises; there are several Swiss balls available, and a skipping rope and hula hoops in the studio too. If you still have some energy after your workout, there’s even a vacuum cleaner in there if you want to be helpful!
Cardio equipment consists of three treadmills, three cross-trainers and five bikes. You’ll see several sets of pull up bars and a number of resistance machines including two lat pulldowns. You’ll also find several inclined abs benches and a hip extension bench.
At only 20 baht more than Hua Hin Sport Villa, in a more convenient location and with a bigger range of equipment, I found this excellent option for those on a budget – definitely recommended!
Alternatively, spend 150 baht at Metamorph Hua Hin, which is right in the centre, just one block away form each of the night market and clock tower.
