NT Fitness Nha Trang is in an excellent location in the centre of Nha Trang, close to most accommodation that I considered – perfect. It is correctly marked on Google maps and clearly visible from outside.
This fairly large gym is split over two floors, and above these, you’ll find two more floors each with a studio. These two studios focus predominantly on yoga and… pole dancing!
This club is good value for money as it’s pretty modern, fully air-conditioned and with a good range of cardio and weights equipment. The ground floor hosts the cardio machines and a dedicated functional training area, whilst the next floor focuses on weights.
I briefly checked the small changing rooms which were clean.
Staff were friendly and spoke some english. When I asked about the 3 day free pass I’d seen advertised on Facebook, she happily handed me the voucher, no questions asked – thank you NT Fitness!
They gave me a small towel (cloth!) for free upon entry. You won’t find free water, but they sell it. Lockers are available for free.
NT Fitness Nha Trang has a whole floor dedicated to weight training. Here you’ll find dumbell free weights up to 50kg, with an additional rack of lightweight dumbbells up to 10kg. Everything was impressively racked in order and the gym was tidy, clean and clearly well looked after.
I found a set of pull-up bars with narrow set cables for crossovers. You’ll also see a lat pulldown and three bench presses here – one each of flat, inclined and declined.
There’s a small number of resistance machines here at NT Fitness Nha Trang. These include a shoulder press, lat pulldown and pec machine for the upper body. They’ve also provided a leg extension/curl combined, as well as an adductor/abductor combined and abdominal machine.
You’ll also see a squat rack, Smith machine, plate-loadable leg press and a hanging leg raise machine.
Whilst there are no fixed weight barbells, I found several adjustable ones.
They’ve also provided an adjustable abs bench and hip extension bench here.
Whilst not top of the range, the cardio equipment here is of good quality, in good condition and both the upright bike and crosstrainer I used here worked well.
I found five treadmills, four crosstrainers, three upright bikes, one recumbent bike, a stepper and a vibrating machine.
If you head upstairs two floors, you’ll see a rower hiding on the landing. I didn’t use it but it looked like it would work!
This colourful attractive area is located on the ground floor – it may well lure you in and was very popular when I attended late morning on a weekday.
Here I found kettlebells up to 10kg, power bags of 5, 10, 15 and 20kg, and medicine balls of 4, 6, 8 and 10kg respectively.
You’ll also find BOSUs, a hard plyobox, a Swiss ball, cradle, resistance tubes and loops, foam rollers, a step board with risers and battle ropes.
Studios and Classes
Floors 3 and 4 are dedicated to studios, both of which are modern and attractive with aircon. The 3rd floor studio has attractive wooden decor and hosts predominantly yoga and some Pilates classes. It also contains mats, a hip extension, abs bench, hanging punchbag, TRX, trampet, step board and some adjustable barbells.
The fourth floor studio is larger with less equipment. This is where the pole dancing happens!
Summary of NT Fitness Nha Trang
I loved this gym, especially as it was offering 3 day free passes when I attended! Regardless, the 1 – 3 day pass rate is reasonably affordable considering the good quality facilities here. I’ve always appreciated aircon in gyms where the temperature is tropical. (Don’t we all!) So I’m willing to pay more than $2 a workout to get it. NT Fitness Nha Trang is a good mid range gym that’s large enough to cater well for most styles of gym workout. I’d happily return here and have done – I last came here in 2018!
